News Desk: Presently the demand for CNG cars has increased rapidly. All the companies have started launching CNG cars in the market. In such a situation, if you are also a car enthusiast and want to buy a car, then this is a great opportunity. In fact, the teaser of the CNG car of Tiago hatchback was released by Tata Motors.
After this, the booking for buying it has also been started at the dealership level. Due to the lack of Kovid and semiconductor chip, the Tata company was delayed in releasing this car, but it is being said that in January 2022, the CNG variant of its two cheap cars Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor is going to be launched in the market this month. Both these affordable cars are being liked a lot in India and their CNG variant will prove to be more affordable for the customers.
For this, booking has started at select dealerships of Tata Motors. The Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG can be pre-booked by paying a refundable token amount of Rs 11,000 to Rs 15,000, depending on the dealership. Currently, the Tata Tiago and Tigor get a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This motor generates power of 86 hp and peak torque of 113 Nm.
The biggest reason for all these companies to introduce CNG variants is the skyrocketing price of petrol and diesel in the country and this is the reason why customers are now showing a lot of interest in getting factory fitted CNG cars. The Indian government is also promoting CNG vehicles as they are not only economical, but their use will also reduce fuel imports.
